Community Guidelines

Effective date: July 9, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 9, 2026

The short version: Public and shared collections are visible to other people — keep them legal, keep them respectful, and don't use them to harass anyone. Any user can report a collection or block another user directly from the app.

1. Who This Applies To

These guidelines apply to any collection you make public or share with other Thngs users. Private collections that stay on your device are yours alone and are not covered here — see our Privacy Policy for how private collections are handled.

2. What's Not Allowed

Non-sexual artistic nudity (e.g. paintings, sculptures) is generally permitted but may be labeled Mature so viewers know what to expect before opening a collection.

3. Reporting a Collection

If you come across a public collection that violates these guidelines, open it and tap the Report flag icon, choose a reason, and submit. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team — see Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for how the review pipeline works. Reporting a collection does not notify its author.

4. Blocking a User

If you'd rather not see a particular author's collections at all, tap Block from that same collection info screen. Blocking an author hides their collections from your Discover feed immediately. You can review and undo blocks anytime from Account settings. Blocking is one-directional and private — the blocked user is not notified.

5. Consequences

Collections found to violate these guidelines will be removed, and repeat or severe violations may result in account suspension or termination. Content that is illegal — including child sexual abuse material — is reported to law enforcement and preserved as required by law, regardless of how it came to our attention.

6. Contact Us
